Rehab

Dr. Daral treats rehabilitation as part of the same evaluation-first approach he applies to surgery — a structured, physiotherapist-guided recovery plan tailored to the injury, whether that's after ACL reconstruction, a rotator cuff repair, a joint replacement, or a conservatively managed sports injury. The goal is a full, safe return to daily activity and sport, not just clearing post-op milestones.

FAQs about Rehab

Book An Appointment
Do I need rehab if I didn't have surgery?

Often, yes. Many sports and joint injuries are managed non-surgically specifically because structured rehab — physiotherapy, strengthening, activity modification — can resolve them without an operation. Dr. Daral treats rehab as a real treatment path, not just a post-surgery formality.

How long does a typical rehab program take?

It depends entirely on the injury and procedure — anywhere from a few weeks for a minor soft-tissue injury to 6–9 months for a full return to sport after ACL reconstruction. Progress is measured by milestones, not a fixed timeline.

What happens if my recovery stalls?

Regular follow-up during rehab is meant to catch this early. If progress stalls, Dr. Daral reassesses the injury and adjusts the plan — which may mean modifying the rehab program, or in some cases, revisiting whether the original treatment approach still fits.

Can rehab prevent re-injury?

A properly staged rehab program — one that doesn't rush back to full activity before the tissue and strength are ready — is one of the most effective ways to reduce the risk of re-injury, which is why Dr. Daral paces return-to-sport by milestones rather than how a patient feels on a given day.
